B2.8 Integrate Login Page with Backend API #21

Description: Adapt the login page to authenticate users using credentials verified by the backend API.

Acceptance Criteria:

The login form submits credentials to the backend for verification.
User is redirected to the authenticated home page upon successful login.
Failure in authentication shows an error message.

Substeps:

[ ] Implement login logic with API requests.
[ ] Handle API responses for redirection or error messaging.
[ ] Securely manage user session post-login.

Technical Details:

Technologies Needed: Axios or Fetch API, React context for global state management, secure handling of authentication tokens.
Backend Requirements: API endpoint for user authentication.
