Custom template tags #127

Hi!

Is there any way to add custom template tags to use in a template? I'd need to create default buttons for sending out newsletters regarding new events (created in Event Espresso). Basically I need to create buttons that's always there in a custom template which links to the event post, links to a specific section, links to unsubscribe etc.

Custom templates support short codes. Even event espresso short codes should work.
