Opt-in in emails are sent at the time of signup. They bypass the queue and are fired off right away. It sounds like the delay maybe with the mail delivery service.

That's the weird thing. Normal emails sent through the que arrive near-instantaneously.
The auto-sent double opt-in emails ... don't. I've tested it on accounts for gmail, yahoo, aol, outlook, live and hotmail. They all take about 15-30 minutes to receive the message.
Which is why I thought it might be an issue with the plugin. We use SMTP, the emails are authenticated and are not spam-filtered. Wordpress 3.8.1 PHP 5.4
Is there something I might be overlooking?
Quick question!
What's the default sending delay for Double Opt-in emails?
Currently it's taking upwards of 20 minutes to hit my test accounts, when my normal emails sent through Sendpress shoot through instantly.
Is there a setting I can change to make the verification email instantaneous?
