Since each frame as I assume is normalized (to either have a max. 1 or a total of 1 over the entire plot) individually, they are not comparable.
The "gravity" of vote shares therefore is very misleading, changes, dynamics etc.
Will possibly need some careful reconsideration & preparing with the right scale in advance as well as bypassing the default one of hist2d.
