added TypeScript types definitions #76

I needed the types definitions for my TypeScript project, so I created them. If you prefer I can instead submit to the DefinitelyTyped repository.

To avoid adding a new dependency to this package, and since we're not committed to maintaining the type definitions, I think this would be better suited for the DefinitelyTyped repository as you suggest. I'll close this PR for now.
