unable to add current production/consumption to energy dashboard #158

I can see lifetime, last 7 days, todays and index production/consumption but I am unable to add current values to the energy dashboard. I can see the sensors are collecting data but they are not selectable in the list of sensors available to add to the dashboard.

Verions 0.0.17 and Home Assistant 2023.9.1

Just tried again with 0.0.17 and HA upgraded to 2023.9.1 and I see the entities with Wh in pulldown.

Are the units for lifetime production, export / import index entities showing as Wh or kWh?

Everything is in WH, items that are in W do not appear. I was wanting to make sure I’m choosing the correct entries for my energy dashboards as the values do not seem to add up.

How are the consumption CT configured? These can be in 'Load with Solar' or 'Load only' (house). It should be in 'Load with Solar' mode to be able to report net consumption (Import Index) and production (Export Index).

You cannot add meters with the [W] unit to the energy dashboard. Use lifetime meters [Wh].

@infinus, did you get this resolved?

infinus commented 1 year ago

Yes sorry I did not realize I could not add meters with (w) to the energy dashboard. On Sep 21, 2023, at 6:15 AM, Arie Catsman @.***> wrote: @infinus, did you get this resolved?
