14,000kwH generated and it's only 10am. It went whacky #199

Apparently, I'm a solar farm now? Not really sure how to figure this one out. The envoy system does not say 14,000 on it. But, the HA add-on is somehow reading it as such?

What have you configured in the energy dashboard for solar production? Daily or Lifetime value?

I've had it set at this for over a year and each day it's worked fine until today:

Set it to the lifetime one. Much more reliable. I've seen this reported multiple times where these peaks are reported in the daily value even though it worked fine in the past. The peak value is coming from the Envoy itself, HA is just displaying it as it got it.

Okay, I swapped to sensor.envoy_202240181134_lifetime_energy_production.

Seems back on track. Any thoughts on why it was fine for over a year and today it decided to go nuts?

No not really, every now and then this pops up similar as with you. It seems to happen more on recent firmwares. But if you didn't have a recent Envoy firmware upgrade I can't pinpoint an issue.
