By default this should be silent and doing nothing but running the tests, but the ability to see what’s going on when getting things setup or debugging errors is an obvious need.
Note that logging is going to screw up pine with no -o but perhaps just document and explain that. -o is mostly for piping the output to something else, so the logs would go with.
