Close button on notification tray doesn't work #16

Replication steps:

  1. Visit any page that throws a warning/message/error
  2. View the message in the notification tray
  3. Click close
  4. Nothing happens, Javascript error is thrown: Uncaught Error: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: #!

Clicking outside the tray closes it normally.
