GitHub still isn't cooperating and it looks like it isn't one of the printed papers I have at home but I definitely have a reference for that up on my computer at work. I found it a few days ago and literally just looked at it again today.
Stay tuned...

Tuned!
This one: Laland, K. N., Odling-Smee, F. J., & Feldman, M. W. (1999). Evolutionary consequences of niche construction and their implications for ecology. Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, 96(18), 10242-10247. doi: 10.1073/pnas.96.18.10242 http://www.pnas.org/content/96/18/10242.full.pdf
This one as well: Lehmann, L. (2007). The evolution of trans‐generational altruism: kin selection meets niche construction. Journal of evolutionary biology, 20(1), 181-189. DOI: 10.1111/j.1420-9101.2006.01202.x http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/j.1420-9101.2006.01202.x/full
Do you need more?
These are great!
If they exist, a few more would be good. Ideally, we'd like something that highlights the effects of negative niche construction (in a good way; Lehmann says it could hurt cooperation) or the interaction between positive and negative.
In the paper, we'll be showing that positive niche construction helps, but is insufficient. Both positive and negative are required to keep cooperators a-cooperatin'.
Hm, maybe this one: Hui, C., Li, Z., & Yue, D. X. (2004). Metapopulation dynamics and distribution, and environmental heterogeneity induced by niche construction. Ecological Modelling, 177(1), 107-118. http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0304380004001103
They basically show that Organism–environmental relations induced by niche construction profoundly influence the dynamics, competition, and diversity of metapopulations. In metapopulation community, positive niche construction leads to exclusion of intermediate species with odd-numbered species richness and oscillation with even-numbered species richness; negative niche construction has opposite results. These results suggest that species richness may be critical to community’s dynamics and structure. Extinction of some species can lead to dramatic change of dynamical stability, oscillations or exclusions, or even chain reactions that damage the community structure.
There might be a better option though. I'll keep looking
There is this one: Silver, M., & Di Paolo, E. (2006). Spatial effects favour the evolution of niche construction. Theoretical population biology, 70(4), 387-400. http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0040580906001109
They say " Under the present two-species model, stabilising effects are only observed in the presence of both positive and negative niche constructors."
Maybe this? An interesting read... Kylafis, G., & Loreau, M. (2011). Niche construction in the light of niche theory. Ecology letters, 14(2), 82-90. http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/j.1461-0248.2010.01551.x/full doi: 10.1111/j.1461-0248.2010.01551.x From the abstract "We use a graphical approach to analyse how a species' niche-improving impacts interplay with niche-deteriorating impacts to modify its response to the environment. In a model of two consumers that compete for one limiting resource and one predator, we show how niche construction modifies the traditional niche-deteriorating impacts of its agent or of competing species, and hence the potential for species coexistence.By altering the balance between intraspecific and interspecific competitive effects, niche construction can either generate net interspecific facilitation or strengthen interspecific competition. The adaptive benefit derived from niche construction also strongly affects the realized niche of a niche-constructing species."
Adding one more to the pile that I haven't had a chance to look at more closely.
Eco-evolutionary feedbacks in community and ecosystem ecology: interactions between the ecological theatre and the evolutionary play doi: 10.1098/rstb.2009.0012
I have a few other potential options but I need to give them a closer look.
I am going to close this since we aren't really talking about positive niche construction anymore. Hope that is ok.
Fine by me!
