Can I use the technique used here (by forum user Vlavonvidden) to store/recall values in MQTT, thus requiring only one common set of entities? Currently I have to create a new set of inputs for each set of items.
Some experimentation will be required. Creating an alternate of my Wakeup light package would be a good place to start, as it has far fewer entities.
