I want to build a kodi box to send to a country with restrictive intended access (France) .

I want o make one box running kodi that routes all traffic through VPN with VPN running on same box..

How does kodi know to use the VPN instead of normal eth0?

This seems to be the default way. Make sure to enable 'sudo' in config and test.
