Use hierarchy in filters to position choices in lower-level filters #27

Would be great if upon selection of e.g. a tribe, all genera and species that belong to that tribe are placed at the top of the genus and species level filters. But also for other level ranks. I have seen this option with some other groups during the course in their designs, but I am not sure if it is easily implemented in full.

Perhaps another example to clarify. Say filter and select genus "Arabidopsis", then in the column to the right appear first the two species of Arabidopsis now in the BrassiToL, then perhaps a horizontal line, and below the rest of the species not yet filtered.

This will help the use to "filter top down" when first the higher rank is known, but not yet the lower ranks.

Naturalis colleague Pierre-etienne Cholley suggested:

Display, next to each filter, the number of species affected (when it is relevant).
