FR: PDF support #230

I have a ton of PDFs in my knowledge corpus that I currently have to convert to markdown to be able to use with the plugin. Automatic PDF support would make a huge difference!!! 🙏

Same use case. I've tried out all of the GAI plugins for Obsidian and this seems like a consistent limitation in Obsidian. Have not found any plugin that can do this straight off a pdf attachment. It would be great if this feature is supported by SC

Thank you for your feedback! I completely understand the need for PDF support in the plugin. It would indeed be a valuable addition.

I'm currently exploring options to integrate PDF support into the plugin. One possible approach is to leverage existing PDF extraction plugins or libraries to extract text from PDF files and then process that text within the plugin.

I'll continue to investigate this and work towards adding PDF support in a future update. Thank you for bringing this to my attention!

PDF-support would be really great

I too would love a way for SM to be able to reference pdf. Unless I am missing something mine does not.
