Connection results are huge instead of just most relevant parts #863

I can't seem to get smart connections v2 to behave... when i expand the links it generates it's just a massive chunk of the notes and goes on forever. in V1 it would show the most relevant parts... also I can't seem to find a way to search for just the selected text anymore and not the whole note

what was the last version you tried in which the "search for just the selected text" worked? that is for me a very important feature

Is it not working for you currently? If the cursor is not on the first line, running the find connections command should update the results based on the block where the cursor is located.

There is also a search pane where you can enter the exact text you want to use as lookup.

I would also appreciate if we could work together toward making the current version function well rather than trying to revert back to older versions which have been moved on from for plenty of good reasons.

No, it is not working for me. I just updated now to the last version but same situation. Running last MacOS version and last Obsidian.

If I open the search pane, then it works! Misteriously I did not know about it :)

Yes, of course, I will do my best to support this nice project.
