Not enough captures..

Barely catching pokemon but spinning loads and loads of stops. Need to be able to prioritize certain pokemon over spinning stops. Say a Mr Mime pops up 50m away from you instead of running the path spinning the stops and getting it if you go by it, maybe should go straight to say Mr Mime then walk back to the previous stop that you was able to spin? Does this make sense

Try increasing the distance setting. It is possible that your Mr Mine was outside the range.
