will a higher travelling speed increases the farming efficiency?

i went from 20 to 27 in about 5hrs going 60km

Usually slower is better. 20-25 seems to be recommended. Faster and the Pokemon get away a lot plus can get you softbanned.

Type in disneyland,california i get 140 stops. Santa Monica Pier gives me 147 stops. I only use these to locations to farm havent found better yet.
