I do think this could be useful. I would definitely approve of this being a plugin users can download.
Thank you for your response and consideration! This is why I love your app and company so much! I've been using it since early v1 and the progression is crazy! In v1, I wanted it to have more functionality like VSC with extensions, better formatting, etc. and then v2 happened lol!
I do hope the extension is implemented, as it would be an excellent asset to my development process! Again, thank you kindly for your timely response and your consideration 🙏🏻. 5 stars from this guy!

Summary
I think including a simple item texture maker for bedrock into the tools would complete v2! I know Blockbench is capable but its extremely confusing for some dimwits like me that simply just want to make the texture itself. You could look at a website called Tynker. It's made for kids and its a simple yet effective Minecraft item texture maker (which I use lol). Maybe your tool could be idolized by that?
Alternatives/Considerations
I can't think of another alternative as finding a simple Minecraft item texture maker online is proven to be extremely difficult.
Additional context/Motivation
Here's a screenshot of a custom item texture in the making, on Tynker. You shouldn't need all the extra stuff the Blockbench offers when just creating the image texture itself
