Clicking on Brief's Icon triggers a Firefox Alert "Please check that the URL is correct and try again". #475

Firefox 69.0.1 Brief 2.6.0

When the Brief Icon is clicked Firefox issues an Alert "Please check that the URL is correct and try again".

After dismissing the alert Brief loads and operates as expected. (After loading the URL displayed is "moz-extension://3039a398-4175-4525-912e-d880dd4504e8/ui/brief.xhtml")

This is on a fresh install, the only other add-ons are "NoScript" and "Flagfox", temporarily disabling those doesn't change the behaviour, the alert is still shown.

Any thoughts on this issue, still occurring with: Firefox 71.0 Brief 2.6.0

I've never seen a bug like this. What's your operating system? Does it happen every time or just sometimes?
