I’m not too sure about whether the slide is working? The left hand and right side look a bit empty, would it be possible by any chance to shift the slider on the left hand side (similar to the New Yorker website) If we’re working on a 3 column structure, could we shift the slider to the first two columns? And potentially have the right hand 3rd column for Events box or Print Magazine box with more text?

Other discussion:

I understand that it is a bit tricky to keep the text visible on photo/image - however can we find an alternative to the outline of text? I’m almost tempted to just have an image for the slider and no text - maybe we can add text when we hover the mouse over? Similar to this: on Schon Magazine website they don’t offer that option but we could potentially implement it?

I pointed out:

• Mouseover doesn't work for mobile
• Could do text alongside or text on mouseover for desktop and over/under for mobile

I think this needs planning before we implement @CiaranChris

@CiaranChris I'm not sure what I vote best. Do you have a preference of the desktop options?

• Mouseover text
• Text to the right
• Something unrelated on the right e.g. list of events

Potentially we might remove the slider entirely. Waiting on @CiaranChris to decide what team want.
