Importing own LCIA Method #42

Hi,

I have a Simapro CSV export file with an LCIA method and related characterisation factors. Is it possible to import this in BW and subsequently use it in the activity browser? Can anyone please help?

Unfortunately, I find it difficult to follow the instructions provided in the BW documentation.

Hi @ar-ali. This isn't really a software issue :)

There is a SimaPro LCIA CSV importer; I guess the difficult part would be to match the names of the biosphere flows to those used in the Brightway default data. This either has to be done manually, or you can skip the Brightway default data and only use SimaPro biosphere names (there is not correct answer here, just two systems).
