Align AYCE architecture to integrate with Hestia #22

Open cmutel opened 1 year ago

All you can eat is an open database from eaternity. It has a high potential synergy with Hestia, as Hestia is more farm-scale and AYCE is more food product oriented.

The hackathon team will work on aligning the two systems to allow for submission of AYCE data to Hestia, and for Hestia data to supplement the AYCE database.

TBD: Write specific tasks

Suggested lean: Manuel Klarmann

@mklarmann Please fill in the description and task list in a separate comment. Let me know who else we should invite (or ping them yourself) 😝

I would love to coordinate here with Joseph Poore, Guillaume, Choi and Holger Finger.

Tasks include: • Aligning on the recommended way hestia is meant to be used (from a technical interface) - how can we keep up with the schema? • Check on how to consume rich data from hestia (data already classified in the glossary) in ayce • Understand how we can align gap-filling model architectures

The goal would be to integrate all publicly available data dynamically into ayce calculations of processed foods.

We have compiled an action plan here, to get it done: https://eaternity.notion.site/Brightcon-Hackaton-7e1269d8430d46f79ade8528e079c612?pvs=4
