The new DataFrame functionality together with the read-only proxies in the IOTable offers an interesting possibility - a simple data exchange format built on datapackages for Brightway users which could skip bw2io completely.

In this task, you will:

Design what that data format would look like (required columns, if any), and metadata (author, version, license, etc.)
Design a simple Flask/similar webapp for keeping a catalogue of uploaded inventory data
Design import functionality for these datapackages
