Question about hourly forecast #69

Hi, I don't have any issue exacly, just some questions about the hourly & daily forecast feature.

  1. How often do the hourly & daily forecasts update and
  2. Can the forecasts be updated on demand? I'm trying to build a template for use with a tts service to tell me the forecast at specific time of the next morning. Cheers Nick

@nickh66 from my experience the hourly forecast seems to update every 15-30 minutes as I've watched the weather widget change in about that time frame. This is anecdotal but it has been my experience. I've been able to force updates by reloading the integration via a script or automation but it doesn't usually change much because of the frequency in which it already polls the API.

@nickh66 I hadn't noticed this before but you can configure the intervals in the integration. If you go into the WeatherFlow integration and click configure you'll see it:
