There should be some part of the car to charger protocol that tells the charger 1. Car plugged in 2. Some identifier for the car
I'm hoping this is exposed from the EVC.
It would be cool if some automation could detect cheap periods and initiate charging, but only if the right car is plugged in.
This way I can just plug in and forget. But charging is not triggered if nothing is plugged in.
