[Question] Can GivEVC detect if a vehicle is attached? #133

There should be some part of the car to charger protocol that tells the charger 1. Car plugged in 2. Some identifier for the car I'm hoping this is exposed from the EVC.

It would be cool if some automation could detect cheap periods and initiate charging, but only if the right car is plugged in. This way I can just plug in and forget. But charging is not triggered if nothing is plugged in.

Thanks for your part in giv_tcp. This project is a big reason I chose GE kit over the others.

There is a sensor for "connected". Asking for the car id is too much :smile:
