Action bar paging with shift + scroll reset to paging all bars when changed location while using ElvUI & Neuron #439

While using ElvUI with the "Display the Blizzard UI" option is unchecked in Neuron settings and all "Remove Bar # Action Page" options are checked in game interface options, when I change locations with loading screens in between (tested by teleporting between different cities with a mage), action bar paging with shift + scroll resets to paging all bars instead of only 1 and 2. Reloading temporarily fixes the issue until I change locations again.

Editted/updated the issue with more and better details.

Does it happen without ElvUI?

FoXISBacK commented 2 years ago

Here are some of my finding;

FoXISBacK commented 2 years ago

Tried it without any addons again, instead of "# 6", it sait "# 2" this time so seems like what page it ends up switching after teleport is not consistent.

AlexFolland commented 2 years ago

If it happens with no addons running, this is not a Neuron issue.

FoXISBacK commented 2 years ago

I thought it was obvious that no addon meaning no addon but Neuron... I wouldn't report a bug on Neuron without using it :D

AlexFolland commented 2 years ago

You said it happened with Bartender, and Bartender just moves Blizzard bars instead of making its own. That suggests that the same issue should happen with no addons running. Can you confirm this suspicion?

FoXISBacK commented 2 years ago

Again, when I said it happens with Bartender, I meant it happened with Bartender and Neuron working together. With only Neuron, it happens but I'm not able to see it since it only happens when "Display the Blizzard UI" option is disabled. Instead of seeing it, I managed to understand the issue happening like I mentioned previously, using different macros on each bar which prints out which bar is active.

AlexFolland commented 2 years ago

Okay, I see. I'd misread the original issue. The issue is not relevant without the Neuron-specific page-removal options, so testing without Neuron running would not make sense. Thanks for your clarity. This seems like a solid issue.

No probs. If you need any more data, let me know. I'm happy to provide any details needed.
