Problem with biol. context search #49

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

Please describe your issue, including IDs where possible:

When trying to search the DB by biological context I receive an error
(actually two errors in one page: a freemarker error and below a message of
an "unexpected error") if I enter no tissue or some tissue name that is not
in the database. By the way, a wildcard search might be useful here (e.g.
the chance to search for glycans with all biological contexts the tissue
name of which contains "blood", e.g blood cells, blood platelets, etc. -
esp. as there are two different tissues called "blood" (one in "anatomy >
hemic and immune systems" and one in "anatomy > fluids and secretions >
body fluids") and the user might not know which one to select. If I try and
search for "blood*" to find all glycans that are found in blood, blood
cells, blood platelets, etc. I also get the errors as described above, as
"blood*" does not match any of the tissue names or synonyms in the database.
