Known-good conky config that works on two completely different laptops and a desktop fails to run on Raspberry Pi 4? I am not terribly used to Conky, so forgive my stupidity if that is the cause. I've used the same Conky config on all my machines for YEARS so was just hoping to get it working on my new Pi as well :)
Information
Trying to run Conky on the latest Raspberry Pi OS 64-bit release (with TwisterUI) using my personal config, but it errors out. I am using Conky version 1.11.6-2 on the Pi installed from Terminal via the usual 'sudo apt-get install conky-all' command.
I know the config works as it works perfectly on my one desktop and laptop (both running Linux Mint 20.3 MATE with Conky 1.10.8) and it also works perfectly on my other laptop running MX Linux 21 with Conky 1.11.6-2.
The pasted .conkyrc file below is the .conkyrc directly copied from my one laptop....I was trying to get it running on the Pi first before then customizing it to suit the Pi.
When running it on the Pi, this is the error I receive:
darkstrike@pidarkstrike:~ $ /usr/bin/conky conky: Syntax error (/home/darkstrike/.conkyrc:2: unexpected symbol near '#') while reading config file. conky: Assuming it's in old syntax and attempting conversion. conky: [string "..."]:159: attempt to call a nil value (global 'loadstring')
This is my .conkyrc config file - it's a highly customized and personalized version of the 'Minimalis' Conky theme:
