[SOLVED, CHECK LAST COMMENT]conky gives output "Syntax error (location to widget: syntax error near 'yes') while reading config file. #999

I Installed conky and conky-manager thru pacman, and went ahead and launched one of the pre-installed widgets. They don't appear and when i use the terminal (for conky) i get this output:

conky: Syntax error (/home/insert username here/.conky/Gotham/Gotham:1: syntax error near 'yes') while reading config file. conky: Assuming it's in old syntax and attempting conversion. conky: [string "..."]:159: attempt to call a nil value (global 'loadstring')

I'm using conky version 1.11.5_pre on Linux 5.6.8-arch1-1
