We can do that. I don't think we currently store whether a variant is found in exomes/genomes, so it wouldn't be available on variant lists that were created before the change.
That is fine. I think it's most helpful when it goes public. Its primary role is to call out to people when it might be the lower denominator that is causing a higher allele frequency
