This include a few different feature requests but they all wrap into the idea of being able to manipulate and track work with the variant lists. Not all of these are deal breakers so I am adding them in order of priority:
Being able to save changes (if you check or uncheck a box to include in math)
Add notes field for user specific notes, which can also be saved
allow for users to manually add additional variants to an existing list
Allow users to delete a variant from a list(with warning that this can not be undone and to suggest unchecking the box if want to keep in list but remove from math)
I showed this to Heidi and one of her first comments was if you could turn this into a "worklist" being able to add notes, your own classifications, save your checked/unchecked status". Heidi's idea about adding classifications made me think it could be cool to allow users to apply their own labels to their manual lists, which could then label the groups in bar graphs like we do for "source" in the recommended list. This would be helpful for people to group by classification, disease (for genes with more than 1 disease). We could start with just adding classification with a drop down and/or letting people upload their own classifications.
