No nodes connected #42

Hi, I just send all my nano from NanoWallet to Nanollet. But there are never nodes connected in nanollet. Where are my nanos now?

Hi,

It's due hard-forks published by NF. The lastest version drops the UDP support, also releases new Epoch-Blocks. Futhermore, there's new breaking-changes (changes that aren't backward compatible) planned (https://forum.nano.org/t/new-state-block-design/892), but not defined yet and the epoch-signer is unknown.

The current Nanollet isn't compatible with the lastest Nano version.

However, about your address...

Enter into your wallet (selecting the correct address). Then, you can recover the "Secret-Key"/"Private-Key" on "Settings" > "Seed".

Copy the "Secret-Key"/"Private-Key" and use on another wallet (such as Nault at https://nault.cc/configure-wallet?import=1), selecting "Private-Key" as a option.

The "Private-Key" is compatible across all wallets.

About some updates to Nanollet, I refuse to update until NF stops pushing breaking-changes and doesn't care about backward-compatibility (there's many way of doing that).

I may publish some update when I have time. But it's hard say "when I have time", when you need to follow the "NFtime". Because NF doesn't describe things a head of time (e.g. the new block is just an idea, not an description of the new block) and also doesn't say who the is epoch-signer. So, even if I have time right now, I can't make Nanollet survive the next epoch...
