[rms] Failure to reflect document title change on the pinned slide title in a presentation trail #873

Changing the title of a document that has been pinned does not change the title of the slide in the presentation trail

The titles of presentation slides do not reflect changes to the documents, the title of the presentation slide is only a filler for when it is added - and it is expected that the user changes them.

This is to avoid confusion over instances where the user pins two different views of the same document and renames them to clarify confusions: presTrails

If you have any ideas for better naming conventions for pinned slide titles please say!

I understand and agree with the reasons for not having synchronization between the document title and the slide title.  A possible way to address the relationship between the title of a document and the slide is to have a field on the slide that is the title of the document.  Thus, you would have three fields for each slide: (1) slide title, (2) link to document, and (3) title of the document.  This would automatically provide a useful relationship without inhibiting the visual differentiation possible by having two sides that have different purposes (slide title) but links to the same document.

I've tried included the three fields. What are your thoughts on Option 1 vs Option 2? Option 1 has the advantage that you can fit many more slides into the screen space

Each option has advantages depending on the use case. Possibly then need to have two expand options - one is the current full expansion and the new one is option 2 of your document title suggestion.
