Link following from a website cannot be undone #897

Link following replaces the website with the linked to website. Cannot get back to the original website

Following links within a website by clicking on them is essentially not supported. As described in other related bug reports, we do not know that the link has been clicked, so we can't undo it, we can't change the title, we can't update annoations, etc.

I can neither replicate nor explain the behavior of it switching web pages between clicking down and up, though. If that's something which is repeatable on your workpace after a refresh, then let me know and I can try to debug it there.

you should be able to have undo/redo work if your webages are not cross-origin protected -- e.g., wikipedia
