When you ink on image and then create a region of that image, the ink that is on the image but not in the region will always be visible. For instance, if the region is a node on a collection the ink strokes will be ghostly floating around the image-region node.
This may be easily fixed with a mask on the ink UI element, or may require a mask on the image element render item
