Status messages need a home #300

[I could have sworn there's another issue for this, but I can't seem to find it...]

The status notifications that appear and disappear block the REPL, and don’t seem to have any sort of home. This isn’t just awkward UI - it’s a legitimate usability problem.

(In WeScheme, we overload the secondary toolbar to display status updates as well, conserving space while improving discovery)

This is now fixed, since there's a footer that doesn't block the REPL and contains all the status messages. Closing.
