Hello,

Thanks for the great icon library! I'm really looking forward to integrate them 
in my various maps.

Here are a couple of suggestions for new icons ?
Sports:
- kitesurf
- volleyball
- rollerskating
- telemarking

Stores:
- drugstore
- I do not like the liquor store icon

I know this is a very old question from you but we on this Project have all 
been busy with other projects, and work, the last year so there has just not 
been any time to reply or update, until now.  :-)

Very good suggestions, some of them are already in the making!

The Volley and Kite icons are now up! You find them on this page:

good use for them!  The other will follow a bit later.

Hello Matthias,

Wonderfull, great job thanks a lot! It's perfect for what I'm planning to do.

I'm working on 2 sites to promote the Gaspesie peninsula region here in Quebec 
Canada. One is for winter sports in the Chic-Chocs mountains and the other is 
for the nautical activities on the sea / St-Lawrence River.

The sites use Wordpress as CMS and each post is georeference and has activities 
linked to it. Each activity is associated with an icon which is then integrated 
on a google maps.

I'm really not a good graphic designer, but if I can help with anything, do not 
hesitate.

Intersting!  I would love to see how you do that.  I'm going to set up a site 
about Barcelona (spain) where I live, using Drupal, with lot's of places and it 
would be great if an icon and geo-data could be entered directly in the CMS and 
posted to a Google Map.  This is what you're doing?  I'm using Drupal because I 
belive they handle multiple languages sites better, I need at least 4 
languages...

Hello Matthias,

Using Drupal (mybcn.es is using Drupal ?), with the module gmap, you can have a 
marker icon for each content type, or with help of a CCK field.

Look, its a drupal site I have done : http://www.inkplanet.fr/communaute/tous
Pink markers are the 1st content type. Green markers are for the 2nd content 
type.

Hi Nico!

No, myBCN is currently using DekiWiki, but I'm going to abandon this platform 
for Drupal the coming weeks, and re-launch the site(s) with a lot of new 
content.  Thanks for the info, I'm sure I'll get back to you on it in a 
different forum.
