Problem entering digits in certain cell locations #167

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. On the right edge of the screen, 6 cannot be entered, or at least very
difficult, maybe 1 in 10 tries.
2. On the left edge of the screen, 4 cannot be entered, or at least very
difficult, maybe 1 in 10 tries.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Mathdoku 352
7x7 game, portrait mode, Android 4.2.2 on Galaxy Nexus

Do you have a bumper case or some other screen protection device which hinders
you in swiping?

Can you please enclose a screen dump? There should be a left and right margin
besides the grid which is sufficient big enough for the swipes to end.

No case. No screen protector. Nothing.

Pic attached.

I have a Galaxy Nexus as well (with a bumper case) and do not experience the
problems described.

Do you experience problems (on the left side) with the 1 and 7 as well? Or, is
your problem that you select either 1 and 7 instead of 4?

Same type of problem here on a Galaxy S3 running 4.2 (or whatever; the latest,
upgraded in last few months). I was on a 4x4 grid and couldn't enter a "4" in
lower left corner as either a maybe or a firm answer. Numbers on the diagonals
entered okay on both R & L sides. Haven't tried a larger grid and won't since
it's virtually unplayable with this error.

Thanks for your attention on this.

Oh, my phone has a case with bumpers, but I pulled it to the side. Didn't
help.

I think I like the new entry method based on a very small sample of one small game.

This problem has been fixed in Beta2 which will be released this week. Please
report again if not yet fixed on your device.

Unfortunately the issue has not been verified explicitly by an independent
tester.
