alternate option for clear maybes #258

What is the expected output? What do you see instead? Change the font color 
(possibly red) instead of clearing maybe. And obviously you'd want change back 
if the number is removed.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? 2.12 rev 
599 on android 4.4.4
