@beaumanvienna Hi sir where can I get the 64 bit version? appveyor doesn't work. thx

beaumanvienna commented 3 years ago

Do you mean this one didn't work? https://ci.appveyor.com/project/gregory38/pcsx2/builds/33942032/job/jt83csobgsi09f46/artifacts

I am more the Linux type'o guy but if the above doesn't work for you, I know who to ask.

brujo5 commented 3 years ago

Thanks for your reply but unfortunately appveyor stopped working due to commit "CI: Remove Travis-CI and AppVeyor" and no longer compiles.

and i thought maybe there would be another site to download 64 bit versions with the latest changes.

How easy it was, I have things to learn, thank you very much.

Glad I could help. Are you also interested in Linux? If so, check out my new emulator bundle project: https://github.com/beaumanvienna/marley

Wow that's great, I'll definitely try it this afternoon. If I have a problem (which I hope not) I will ask you. Thanks for the help provided.

beaumanvienna commented 3 years ago

So you do have Linux as well then? Which one?

brujo5 commented 3 years ago

I've been using 19.3, Cinnamon for a while, and I'm very happy with this OS. It gives me a comfortable user interface, as a former Windows user, and gives me pretty much all of the same features that Windows did, even down to formatting USB drives, networking, and fast operations.

beaumanvienna commented 3 years ago

Perfect! There is version 0.2.4.6 readily available for Linux Mint 19 / Ubuntu Bionic in the PPA.

@brujo5 The Marley project could use some feedback. Can you let us know how the installation went and how you liked everything? Please open issue tickets if you notice anything.

I updated the PPA yesterday for Ubuntu 18.04, so you can simply follow these steps: https://github.com/beaumanvienna/marley#installation-for-ubuntu-and-derivatives

If you don't have the time to test it's also ok of course. What is your favorite core out of the five?

Also, I wanted to know which settings you normally use for PCSX2. OpenGL HW or OpenGL SW? Any other (non-default) settings? Here's a video about the PCSX2 settings we added to Marley (in case you want to install Marley later). Can you let me know which of the settings you normally use or if there's anything you want us to add? https://streamable.com/8wvjvg

Thanks in advance for the feedback!
