Switch from Recordings by Series to Channels doesn't activate a channel with apple remote

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run Front Row
2. Select EyeTV
3. Select Rcordings By Series
4. Select and play a movie
5. Pause that movie, this will bring back to the Play/Restart/Delete screen
6. Go back with the Menu button on the apple remote to the main EyeTV (PyeTV) 
menu
7. Select Channels, then select a channel
8. EyeTV is brought to front, but instead of switching from the paused 
recording to the selected 
channel, it plays the movie (actually unpausing it)
9. From now on, I cannot watch TV shows, but just the recorded one

PyeTV 1.1, EyeTV 3.0.3, Leopard 10.5.5

A side note: to be able to see the channels again, I have to close (with the 
mouse) the movie window, re-enter 
front-row, then, if selecting a channel, I can watch it, but if I go to watch a 
recorded show, I cannot (again) 
watch tv shows until I close the movie window by mouse.

With exactly the same configuration, I have exactly the same problem. 
Can't see a channel afetr I have play a recording.
