EyeTV Diversity PyeTV Issue? #2

I have an EyeTV Diversity set up as dual tuner.  I am recording a show but
not watching it.  I'm using the Apple Remote.  I enter Front Row.  Select
EyeTV there and try to pull up another recording to watch.  Menus all
display beautifully.  But as the show is about to start, I only see a
glimpse of it before the show being recorded comes to the front.  Or,
eventually, after backing out back to Front Row and going back into EyeTV a
few times, it does let me watch my previous recording (still while the
other channel is recording) but after that, I can no longer select a
channel to watch from the PyeTV Channels list: it just takes me back to the
same prior recording.

Backing out of EyeTV to the last Front Row menu almost always results in a
black screen with spinning "busy" indicator until you press Menu a second
time.  This  happens whether it's recorded or live.

I tried disabling the dual tuner behaviour of the hardware but got similar
yet unpredictable results.  I have tried also unchecking "Always open TV in
new window" in the General preferences panel.  Yet always there is this
apparent conflict between what I want to watch and what is currently
showing (sometimes invisibly) in EyeTV.  Which makes me wonder whether it's
something to do with the Diversity tuner.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
EyeTV 3.0.1
PyeTV 1.1
OS X 10.5.2
Mac Mini Core Duo 2GB RAM

Otherwise, this program is full of promise  :)

I don't have a dual tuner setup, but I've noticed several of the same problems 
you
report.  

I've seen the black "spinner" screen until you press menu problem; I don't know
what's causing it yet.

I've also noticed problems playing a recording when EyeTV is recording a 
program or
when the live tv window is up.  I don't know why this should be.   I'll look 
into it.

This issue *might* be the same as why you can't watch a channel while recording 
w/
the other tuner.
