Further testing shows that the plug in works if you have the full screen
options set
in eyeTV. The only issue with this is that I have eyetv to start as a
background app
on startup. The full screen options override this.

Using PyeTV 1.2, the launcher goes to EyeTV running in the bckground. Hitting
the menu
button at this point starts the full screen. I have noticed though that
returning to
frontrow (not exiting) prevents the system from sleeping. This was not the
case before
the Eyetv update. Is this linked to the issue over launching the live window?
These
minor issues aside the plug in is working well. I would prefer not to leave
the
macmini on all the time though without the sleeping.

My mac mini is on 24/7 so I don't really know anything about the sleep issues.
Does
sleep generally work when Front Row is active w/o PyeTV installed?

The sleep issue is the same with or without pyetv if the live window of eyetv
is
running. Prior to the update, running pyetv 1.2 or 1.3, if I went from eyetv
to
frontrow and left the mac mini, it would sleep. I assumed that pyetv closed
the live
window when entering frontrow.
Since the eyetv update, pyetv does not seem to be able to launch eyetv with the
live
window (after a system restart). You need to either start eyetv with the live
window
or hit menu after launching from pyetv. Subsequent starts are fine since the
live
window remains open. Ideally the live window should be closed when in
frontrow. I
don't see why elgato don't do this anyway. Thanks.

I've tried the plug-in on my iMac running Snow Leo with EyeTV 3.2.1 but it
looks like it's not working - Front
Row hasn't changed at all and no category "EyeTV" has been added. Can you help
pliz?

I've exactly the same problem commented by fonsjp.
On my macbook black 13,3 running Snow Leopard 10.6.1 - Eye Tv 3.2.1, i 've
installed PyeTv 1.3 but nothing
has changed in the front raw menu.
I 've encountered during the installation this message: "Could not find EyeTv
icon, you won't have a pretty EyeTv
icon".
Anyone can help me?
Thanks

Is this not now a combination of 2 issues? My original issue was running with
EyeTV
3.2 on Leopard. Pyetv did work but not as well as with the previous version of
eyetv. Having recently installed Snow Leopard I see that the plug in does not
work
at all.

The issue with running pyetv om Snow Leopard is covered
by issue 29.

I can not reproduce the problem with 3.2 running on Leopard. I don't yet have
Snow
Leopard, so I can't comment on that yet.
