This is going to be a tough issue because it's difficult to replicate, but it's
definitely a recurring issue. Playback of HD Eyetv recordings sometimes stop
and start, or just stop. Hitting pause, waiting a few seconds, or jump back a
few seconds, then hitting play can fix it. Or Sometimes playback just freezes
and one must return to Frontrow to start again. It's an infrequent problem, but
occurs often enough and is annoying enough to motivate using plain Eyetv
playback.
In contrast, I haven't observed this behavior with HD playback directed from
Eyetv. There is plenty of memory -- this happens on a Mac Mini with 8 GB RAM,
and plenty of free memory showing.
This appears to be some sort of buffering issue, though I'm not sure. Any
troubleshooting tips would be greatly appreciated.
What steps will reproduce the problem?

2. HD Playback
3. Watch long enough and the problem
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
No starts or stops in playback.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Latest version on OS X Server 10.6.7 with 8 GB RAM.
