What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Right click on any image 
2. Select "External tools/Edit with The Gimp" or something else. 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
python process use 100% of CPU.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
svn revision 187
Gentoo Linux
Python 2.5.2 
x11-libs/gtk+ 2.14.7
dev-python/pygtk 2.14.0
