Hello,

I have been working on the assignment for this week, although I have not been able to make much progress.

I am going to try to continue tonight, in case I can make more progress.

Bruno, this assignment is incomplete. Per the class policy, we strictly enforce homework deadlines for the live class. You're welcome to continue the class as an observer, although not as part of the live class or a project group.

Hi Tim, I am sorry but I was not able to complete it on time. However I have continued and made some progress since then. It is not that I did not do my homework, just that I had issues on the assignment that I did not find how to resolve just yet.

Please allow me to attend the class tonight, and we can discuss further.

Regards,

Sorry, it wouldn't be fair to the other students that I've already moved to observer status. As I did last week, I'm going to be counting the number of people in the class compared to the number of submissions that I received and asking observers to leave the live class.

brunoparrinello commented 10 years ago

My understanding is that you were asking people to leave based on the fact that they are not submitting anything and not committed to work. Is that a misunderstanding?

I am fully committed and have submitted my homework consistently so far; it is just that I had issues doing some of the use cases. I would like to understand what I wasn't able to complete and how to do it. I won't be able to learn and improve if I am not attending in person. This is how I learn best.

No, the policy is based on successful completion of the homework by the deadline. I leave it to the students to start early enough and manage their time so they can get their questions answered before the deadline.
