Docs / Import Brew Installation #251

Question: is there documentation on what "Import Brew Installation" is / means?

I am super intrigued and would like to help my colleagues that are unfamiliar with the command line to use this.

However, I've been using HomeBrew for a while through the command line. (like with formulae in /opt/homebrew)

and I'm unsure if can work with the command line set of formulae (how?) or if it is intended - should - work with its own separate set.

Can someone please provide guidance?

Essentially - I installed this today, and although I have a number of formulae installed through the command line, cakebrew says I have 0 installed formulae.

I also tried the Tools > Import Brew Installation, but was unsure what it is meant to provide)

(I do have casks installed, and I understand it does not handle them, but wasn't sure if that was the reason)
