I'm a long time homebrew user I still use it on more recent macs, but I also have an older one that I locked into 10.15 for performance reasons. Hombrew does not support pre macOS 11 anymore and CakeBrew seems to rely on it in the backend?
Anyway I found this project because the website says:
Cakebrew is compatible with all macOS versions back to OS X 10.10.
