French (Standard/France/Canadian) #257

Hello,

I checked previous issues but am still unsure if a French localization is to come out soon. Correct me if so. I can translate in either Standard, France or Canadian French.

Canadian French can differ quite a bit from France French in certain contexts. France will adopt new IT words in its lexicon without translating it pretty often, but Canadian laws regarding the translation of new terms are a little more draconian. An IT term like "cloud" would become "Infonuage/Infonuagique", while France would just use "cloud". In my experience it is rare to hear these terms in IT projects that are not government-ran. It can often lead to troubleshooting hell...

Standard French allows for better understanding between all speakers around the globe. It gets rid of most idioms proper to only one flavor of French, etc.

If you are in need of a translator for either of these three forms of French, I would be more than happy to help out. :)

It is not my first rodeo either. Last translation I've made can be seen here: Infonuagique

Thanks, CovertDuck
