Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.EncoderException: java.lang.NullPointerException #11

Hi,

I'm playing on a collection of servers and everything was working fine until when logging in I got:

Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.EncoderException: java.lang.NullPointerException

I've confirmed that it is an issue on the server in question and not my account by logging in with a different account on the same PC. Speaking to the server admins they have confirmed that when they try access my inventory then it crashes their game.

Seems that my profile was corrupted in the lobby world but not one of the playing areas so they deleted my player dat file and i was removed from the database but I still can't get connected.

On the server console they see the error: Netty Epoll Server IO #0/ERROR java.lang.NullPointerException

Have you seen this type of issue before? If so what would you suggest as a solution?

Hi, I need all error lines as this does not tell me where the error took place: io.netty.handler.codec.EncoderException: java.lang.NullPointerException

A full server log will be very much useful.

Thanks for the reply, I'll ask the server admin if they can share them, due to timezone differences it's a bit awkward but I'll do my best!
